On catalogue?

This field reflect the status of cataloguing. Imported data into the archive table will be automated to reflect a status of ‘Yes (On CALM)’

The options for this field are:

· ‘Yes (On CALM)’

· ‘No’

· ‘Partially’

Predominantly the material we will audit in visual stores will relate to ‘Yes (On CALM)’ or ‘Partially’ even if we have to manually add data. We may delete ‘No’ as an option if this is not utilised. If an item does not relate to CALM in the accession menu/catalogue menu – this would likely fall/be inventoried in the artworks table to assign a temporary number.

Definitions

· Yes (On CALM) = There is an item level record in the catalogue menu.

· Partially = There is reference to the material in the accession menu and or in a box list but the collection/item has not been catalogued.

· No = There is no reference to material in the accession menu or the catalogue menu (In the past we have assigned temporary numbers to uncatalogued items which we have later reconciled to ‘archive’, and they have then gone through a process to accession/catalogue). For example, manuscripts that have straddled visual, printed and published and archive collections.
