Accession numbers have not been imported into the Archive table from the Accession menu.
Some collections/extracted archives are located in visual stores only referencing the accession number. (i.e. they are not necessarily catalogued).
The accession menu in CALM is separate from the catalogue menu. If you need to look up an accession number, do so in the Accessions Menu.
If you come across an accessioned, uncatalogued archive collection or item that does not exist in the archive table you will need to manually add this data to QB.
Instead of recording a temporary number, you will use the accession reference copied form the Ref_No and PublicRef to link the collection to the information recorded in CALM.
CALM accession record
Open CALM, click on archives menu, then accessions menu, then search.
Search on 'Acc_No' using the accession number to bring up the relevant accessions record.
If you prefer to see all accessions for a particular collection then search on 'RefNo' and navigate to the relevant accession record.
The accession menu will tell you if there is a box list, which can be found on Sharepoint. These exist in 'Collections Management' - 'Collection Files' - and there is a sub folder for 'Archives' You can search for the accession number to find related box lists.
