Requesting work experience/professional visits

Wellcome Collection are currently not offering voluntary placements. This may change with the implementation of the strategy.

For occasional professional experience visits - we can offer 1 hour informal chat, but we can't offer longer period involving different members of staff.

Thank you for your request. I’m sorry but we are not in a position to offer any voluntary placements at the moment.

CILIP, the Library and Information Association have developed a wide range of Special Interest Groups which you can contact even as a non-member to see if there are further opportunities available elsewhere. CILIP also provide advice on careers and continuing professional development.

Please also take a look at the options available to you within the wider Wellcome Trust, some of these placements include rotations within Wellcome Collection.
