Automatic response

Instant e-mail acknowledgement is sent to the enquirer to confirm successful receipt of their enquiry. This is achieved by the Library Enquiries out of office automatic replies being permanently switched on. The response should be updated by staff on duty in the case of office closures.

To update the response:

  • go to outlook via office 365

  • go to your profile icon > ‘open another mailbox’ and open the C&R inbox

  • go to Settings > View all Outlook Settings > automatic replies

  • Update automatic response
