Rules for completing column N of the scoping spreadsheet

This applies to phase 2 accessions only.

Choose an option from the pick list:

• Low

• Medium

• High

Select 'low' if:

• any work needed can be done remotely - this might include adding inferred dates, and adding information to the accession, CLD and box lists to bring them in line with each other.

Select 'medium' if:

• less than 10 boxes need to be recalled for some onsite work. This could include some listing, extracting and/or ingest is required, on top of the tasks considered required for low resource level.

Select 'high' if:

• 10 or more boxes need to be recalled for onsite work. This includes listing, extracting and/or ingest work, on top of the tasks required for low resource level.

• 15 or more floppy disks/CDs/DVDs/audio-visual items need to be checked and itemised, and ingested (for born-digital material).
