Establish the collections to be targeted during the sprint/focus period as a result of scoping processes.
Return to any issues remaining from the previous sprint/focus period i.e. material awaiting locations, deepstore returns outstanding.
Establish who will be able to contribute to the sprint/focus on which days during the period.
Ensure all listers have access to the software and documents needed and that all equipment will be available. See Equipment List.
Check to see whether any updates need to be rolled out across machines, particularly for TeraCopy, DROID and AnyBurn which are outside of general software updates.
Communicate with Collections Development that hardware and software will be stored in the 6th floor during sprint/focus period.
Communicate with preservation slack channel that there may be an increase in material pushed for ingest during sprint/focus period.
Arrange for any material stored offsite to be delivered in time for the sprint/focus period.
If a large amount of material, arrange on slack for help moving the boxes to the 6th floor.
Once boxes have come onsite, check the boxes against the batch list to ensure that all boxes expected have arrived. When putting on the shelf, try to ensure that accessions are kept together and in as close to box number order as possible.
Check that any already extracted components stored onsite have been found and bring up to workroom.
Establish prior to working on a collection whether disposals need flagging with Collections Development and therefore separating.
