Rules for completing column J of the scoping spreadsheet

Minimum requirements:

• Dates can be rough or inferred. If the date can be reasonably inferred from the working dates of the organisation or individual that is also fine.

• Circa dates are fine.

• Dates can be included in the title or description i.e., '20th century publications' or 'Meeting minutes 1970-1980'.

Choose an option from the pick list:

• Yes

• No

• Some

Select 'yes' if:

• all boxes meet the minimum requirements

Select 'no' if:

• there are no dates at all

Select 'some' if:

• some boxes contain dates, or dates can be inferred

Add all inconsistencies or other relevant information to the Notes column of the scoping spreadsheet as necessary.
