Rules for completing column I of the scoping spreadsheet

Check whether the box list(s) gives titles of material within each box and/or a brief description of each boxes contents.

Choose an option from the picklist:

• Title

• Description

• Both

• Neither

Select 'title' if:

• only titles are recorded

Select 'description' if:

• only descriptions with no identifying titles are recorded

Select 'both' if:

• there is a mixture of both title and description, even if not consistently recorded one way or the other

Select 'neither' if:

• only box numbers and/or barcodes are recorded

If there are some boxes without either a title or a description, and some with, choose the most appropriate from ‘title’, ‘description’ and ‘both’ and record the box number which needs to be recalled for listing in the ‘Notes’ column.
