Current owner

Knowing who owns each object (or group of objects) in Wellcome's care, and how they came to be in its care (e.g. acquired, on loan) is a minimum requirement of the SPECTRUM inventory procedure.

This field in QB will be pre-filled with the wording ‘Wellcome Trust Limited’. Any reference to a different owner found beside or on an item or its housing, will be recorded in the 'additional notes or queries' field and passed on to the Collections Development Team. Further research on provenance can also be carried-out by the Inventory Team as part of Phase 2.
