Items on catalogue

  • YES - Each item or group of items has an icon number and there is a metadata representation on Sierra.

  • NO - Item hasn’t got an icon number and there is no metadata representation on Sierra.

  • Partially - A group of objects is under the same icon number and there is a representation on Sierra for the whole. Differences between the objects are not represented on the catalogue and further cataloguing action is required. This should be selected in combination with ‘Phase 2: item records to be created’ (Part Numbering field).

  • Partially - also represents material where an order number has been created for acquired material waiting to be catalogued on Sierra.

This field is particularly important for objects flagged for part numbering which are awaiting creation of item records.
