Image of uncatalogued material

Should the uncatalogued item be difficult to interpret (unknown language/lettering, abstract image etc.) we should take a picture of it. We have now been provided with an Ipad and an email account, which we can use to forward pictures to our personal inboxes.

Under the Inventory SPECTRUM standard - a title, brief description or an image should be recorded.

Where an image may aid identification this can be added to the record.
