Accessing digitised material
Before starting you will need to have access to and open the following:
Quickbase - Copyright and AV Tracking: https://wellcome.quickbase.com/nav/app/bmqvad4i2/action/appoverview
Filezilla: /wellcomecollection-digitisation-av bucket. See S3 Client Setup for further instructions.
Archive reference or bib number. For uncatalogued material you'll need the temporary identifier e.g. '2365/AV/007'. You can also search via the accession number and batch number.
If you already have the batch number go straight to step 4.
Instructions
Go to the Quickbase link above and scroll down to the 'Reports' section. Open 'A/V Material Master Report' under the 'A/V Work' section.
Paste the archive reference, bib number or temporary identifier into the search box.
Scroll to the right until you get to the 'Batch No.' column. Make a note of this and navigate to Filezilla. The batch no. should be something like '9004a'.
Open the digitisation av bucket in Filezilla (File -> Site Manager). The files will either be in 'In house Audio Digitisation' file or the 'r3store' file depending on where it's been digitised. Open the relevant folder and find the batch no. Open this and right click to download the files you need.
