This element records the place of creation and/or publication of an object.
Terminology
Record as it appears on the work.
If not supplied and can be determined from supporting documentation or publications, record as current town/city then country.
If place of creation or publication is unknown, use the geographic or cultural origin of the creator instead.
If uncertain or place is ambiguous include the term possibly or probably before it.
If no place can be ascertained then leave blank.
Group of Objects
Record all known places of creation and/or publication associated with the group of objects as suggested above.
If this would result in too many different places than is practicable, choose the most prominent or common.
