MVR: Minimum viable record
The MVR is the Inventory level record for all formats in the collection. It can refer to an individual object or a group of objects. The Collections Information Policy MVR data requirements are:
Order (new acquisitions) or Bibliographic (legacy material with no order record)
Order number or Bib 001
Identification number / unique ID
Order
Wellcome acquisition data (if available)
Current owner
Bibliographic
Mat Type
Object type
Bibliographic

Recorder & recording date (a Spectrum requirement) are logged by Sierra, but not to individual field level.
Additional information may be added at the time of acquisition.
For legacy material in the Ephemera collection, an enhanced Minimum viable record is created during the inventory process.
