The First Aid Kit demonstrates best practice and is designed to allow staff the time to process their emotions effectively so that they do not go on to develop vicarious trauma. It pulls together all of the recommendations in the Staff Welfare and Safeguarding pages into one document for you to use and have at your desk while you work.
Please access it via the Sharepoint link below and save a copy. You can then either print it as is or customise it to suit the particular collection your working on or your working style. You can customise it by yourself or work in collaboration with your manager. Please open it via Microsoft Word to maintain the layout.
