# Quarterly Core Cataloguing

New Core Collection acquisitions are reviewed on a Quarterly basis, to ensure they are catalogued to a Basic level.

### Identifying items to be catalogued

* Run a quarterly report on uncatalogued new acquisitions in Sierra. Use **Sierra Create Lists** saved query ***19 Uncatalogued Acquisitions***, changing the **Received date** to cover the start and end dates of the previous Quarter.&#x20;
* **To export** the relevant data to Excel use saved export ***98 Quarterly Acquisitions Cat Report***.
* Save on Sharepoint: *Collections Information/Audits & Backlog Management/Uncatalogued Sierra lists*
* Copy the list onto a new tab to edit the data for **Monday.com**. For Artists' Books, Ephemera & Zines create a single line for each, with the total number of books/items/zines in the Extent column. The columns in the Excel sheet need to match those on the Monday board.
