Set the message, set the display value to ‘show’ and then publish. You can schedule the banner to show or hide at a point in the future (but not alas both sequentially).

The impetus or instruction to set a message will almost always come from outside the team. Please make an effort to treat it as editable content, and adjust the tone of voice where necessary (e.g. ‘We will be closed….’ Not ‘Wellcome Collection will be closed...’)
